Mr. Orange is the chief elder of Kamiki Village. When all fifteen of its cherry trees are in full Bloom, he dances the "Konohana Shuffle" to restore Sakuya's Konohana tree (with some help from Amaterasu).
As his name indicates, he is fond of oranges, which Amaterasu can obtain from him as food in several different forms: regular oranges from the posts in front of his house; special "Kamiki oranges" from the gigantic orange on his roof; and "baked oranges" (three of them skewered together on a stick) when repeatedly spoken to at night.
His wife, Mrs. Orange, is a kind lady who appreciates help with drying her laundry, and will gratefully make her special "cherry cakes" in return. Except for the regular oranges, all of these foods are unique to Mr. and Mrs. Orange and can only be obtained here.
Their ancestors from 100 years ago are Mr. and Mrs. Grapefruit, who greatly resemble them in appearance but are much more fearful of Amaterasu. Despite the name change, slicing the fruit on top of Mr. Grapefruit's house still yields "Kamiki oranges", not "Kamiki grapefruit".
