Underground Ruins

The Underground Ruins are a limited-tour dungeon in Okamiden. The ruins were uncovered by Gen and his researchers while digging near Watcher's Cape in North Ryoshima Coast.

The original complex was constructed by the Moon Tribe to store Daidarabotchi.

Chibiterasu cannot enter the complex without Kurow as a partner. Their exploration of the ruins is divided into two distinct halves. In the first half, they find Kyokugami and gain the new brushstroke of Magnetism, but reach an internal point of impasse which cannot be crossed without first visiting the Thundercloud.

In the second half, the ability to pass through lightning allows Chibi to skip through much of the puzzles from the first half and begin exploring right where he had left off. However, at that point, the item is destroyed from too much electric overload and Chibi is once again vulnerable to electric shocks.

At the end of the dungeon is the boss, King Fury, the possessed body of Sugawara. He uses Gen to raise up Daidarabotchi, thus focusing Kurow on the controls to keep Daidarabotchi out of Chibi's way during the fight.

After King Fury is defeated, the ruins become completely inaccessible.
